PBS Newshour Live YouTube Now - Will it Be a Success?
A couple of days before, I had been watching the PBS Newshour resides on YouTube. It's one of those stations which you either love or hate. It's somewhat like the Food Network but also for news and current kỷ niệm chương quà tặng thành đạt affairs. You've got to pay for the service because it costs some money for them to stream the news online in high definition quality. Still, it's worth your while.
The very first thing I thought when I saw the movie was that it has to be among these Thai battle videos. The Thai fighters are doing their version of the Wing Chun and Muay Thai struggle where they slam their opponents to the floor and opt for the submission. It seemed impressive to me and it looked like something the audience wouldn't forget. But, then I remembered that I am not in the area of fighting, and perhaps my tastes run a little bit to the rough side. So, I decided to check out the PBS Newshour's New York website to find out what all the hubbub was about.
After I watched the movie, I immediately realized that there were really two different services that I could sign up for. The free service offered news movies live on your computer while the premium service provided more superior video programming reside on your own PC. They had a news site that posted on their website and RSS feed to you TV feed that you didn't overlook any of the Newshour Newsworthy. To put it differently, both variations of this PBS Newshour Live YouTube now are very similar.
As far as the news video goes, they do possess a news blog and you can choose to pay for the video in the News class or the Featured category. Now, it wasn't very clear to me which category I'd want to pay for since they supply a broad selection. The same holds true for the video section of the service. I guess it is entirely up to you. However, it does appear that the paid service provides you with access to more news and other video programming compared to the free support.
While the paid service costs quite a bit more than the free service, I am sure it will pay off in the end. As far as programming goes, both choices are pretty excellent. I believe the only real difference between the two services is that the free service doesn't have quite the choice of video which the paid support does. That having been said, they both deliver news and other websites on time and with higher quality. Time will tell if service is going to become the king of this online television business.
It'll be interesting to see what happens over the next few months. Both services appear to have great support from Time Warner Cable. While we wait and see exactly what the fourth quarter has in store, there's no better way to acquire real-world information about what is going on in your local area or across the world then by tuning into either PBS Newshour Live YouTube or PBS Newshour Live. Regardless of which you choose, the time of day that you choose to watch will probably be incredibly important.
